The new city : Chanteloup-les-Vignes
"The new town is emerging in full light. A new town, a different town, the town that architect Emile Aillaud is creating on the hills of Chanteloup-les-Vignes, outside Paris. Human condition in relation to the city, to the group, to life itself : this is what is depicted here. But also man's anxiety at the sight of the irreversible process of the demolition, of things and beings, which the artist camouflages behind the fancy decor of this town, sinister and beautiful all at once."
