Imperia, The city of peace
"In the spring of 2003 Henri Landier went to the little Italian town of Imperia. He sat down in the old town,on a promontary called Porto Maurizio, and went to work painting the baroque collegiate with its coffered vaults. The entire town was in flower with rainbow-stripped flags advocatig PEACE... In a state of ectasy, Landier, using a dizzying colour dazzling with sunshine, could not stop painting the concentrated force of warm tones flirting with various greens and blues. Enchanting colours!"
