From Montmartre to Imperia
From shadow to light
Henri Landier has created
a body of work that is intensely personal and independent of current modes of
artistic expression.
His very different themes: the night, ports, cities, portraits, the theatre...
were inspired by a fascination with the flow of time and the irreversible process
of life.
The man who depicts chaos in his paintings of the Labyrinth then goes on to
paint the reconstrustion of the new city of Chanteloup-les-Vignes, the enchanting
streets of Prague, the little by ways of Venice, and pacifists flags flyings
over Imperia
