Since forty years, Henri Landier has applied himself to promote the Engraving knowledge in the same spirit as the one which animated Jean Vilar when he created the Popular National Theater. In the same way, in 1967, was born the subscription idea to a limited engraving printing. If this subscription enriches the artlover and allows him to make a magnificent collection, it also conributes to the diffusion of Henri LANDIER'work.
The first proposed engraving was " The Chevalier de la Barre" (1967) he printed in his Pisseloup mill on his arm-presses. Later on, when he definitly settled down in Tourlaque street, where Toulouse-Lautrec had formerly his workshop, Henri Landier added to his annual subscriptions, workshop visits and Engraving initiation meetings in order to raise the interest for this Art and to make it better known...
